How to fill up your schedule and start a waitlist for FREE!

The best things in life are free!

Intro:

This strategy has personally worked us and small to medium companies we help. It’s a free strategy without paying for ads, it is a little bit involve but does pay off once you get into the habit of doing it.

For larger companies you ideally want to have a consistent inflow of leads and paid advertising offers that, but we’ll touch that on another post.

The Basics

For this strategy you ideally already have a Google my business or yelp page and a website, but if you don’t do not worry it works if you’re a solo cleaner just starting out.

Most social media platforms are pay to play platforms even if they’re free. Besides Tiktok they throttle your post or you may just not have enough followers. Tiktok’s algorithm does give your post more reach but it is not location targeted and if you get 10,000 views chances are slim they’re mostly from your cleaning area.

So how to we reach location targeted cold leads? The answer is Facebook groups. Facebook has millions of groups for just about everything, and a lot of them let people advertise their services. Now they do have guidelines and rules, so please read them and respect them, it’s not a good look to be labeled as a spammer.

Here is a list below of what to search for on facebook:

  • “Your city name” parents

  • Stay at home moms “your city name”

  • SAHM “your city name”

  • SAHP “your city name”

  • seniors in “your city name”

  • 55+ “your city name"

  • Grandparents “your city name”

These are examples and we encourage you to get creative, but please read and respect the group regulations before joining and make sure the groups are large with atleast 5k+ followers and have atleast 1-5 daily post to show they’re active.

How do I stand out.

Competition is not always good and we discourage undercutting prices and racing to the bottom. The truth is cleaning is a hard job and profits shrink with overhead when you build a company so it’s to no one’s benefit to undercut.

With that being said everyone loves a good deal, and our strategy is to promote an offer so good people feel dumb saying no. This promo is unique to everyone but here is an example for a solo cleaner.

OFFER:

House cleaning for $99*

The Details:*Full house cleaning for up to 1.5hrs with one single cleaner (this makes your rate $66). Cleaning is time based and excludes move in/outs, sales cleanings, etc. First time customers only, limited schedule availability. DM to Book or click (yourwebsite)

If you book 4 of these in one day your gross revenue would be $396 and work 6 hrs without including drive times in between appts. Make sure you detail all exceptions and confirm over the phone/text.

$396 × 5 days = $1980 per week.

Now remember these are intro promos and can only be used once.

When to post

All groups have different rules, some let you post once a week or month so you want to make a spreadsheet to organize and post this in a daily routine. The key is to have long list of groups with 5k+ followers.

Building a pipeline (waitlist)

you want to create scarcity in your post. You don’t want to be unethical and lie, remember getting into the flow of making these types of cleanings take time you still have to answer phones and communicate with clients to confirm their information. So you want to book a few a week and add the rest to a waitlist. The offer has to be so good they are eager when you have an opening.
